I have always gotten a real joy out of making my own products. Be they for sport, work or a hobby the DIY factor has always been a real drawcard for me. Since joining the army in 2005 and getting a trade the DIY factor really ramped up. I have dabbled in knife and axe making, mead and beer brewing, viking re-enactment and archery. All of which have a big handcrafting scene.
A couple of years ago I decided to try and turn my daily shave from a chore into a treat. I bought an old safety razor and started playing with my own pre and post shave oils.
With Covid-19 and the lack of safe, natural and gentle sanitisers available for my family, I started experimenting. I came up with an effective sanitiser made with all natural ingredients and so I kicked this tiny little hand made store off.
